DREAMY TAHINI MISO

DREAMY TAHINI MISO

YOU WILL NEED:

A small jar

1 Tbs miso paste (I prefer a red because it generally undergoes a longer fermentation process)

3 Tbs warm/hot water

1/2 lemon

3 Tbs raw tahini

3 Tbs flax oil (or olive oil)

1/2 tsp cumin powder

1/4 tsp paprika

A pinch of salt

Pepper to taste

*Makes about 4 servings // Will last in the fridge for about a week

METHOD:

  1. Combine miso and warm water in small jar, stir until miso dissolves
  2. Add juice from lemon & tahini
  3. Put on lid and shake
  4. Mix in seasonings and
  5. Add oil and shake once more

 

This Dreamy Tahini Miso makes a great dressing for both warm & cold salads (depending on the season) and is an excellent way to easily incorporate all six tastes in a meal.  It is packed with nutrients and will help alkalize the internal pH.  The addition of flax oil is also a great may to add healthy omega 3 fatty acids to your diet!
